Courses
Structured programs built from decades of performing and teaching. Each course has a clear arc — you'll know exactly where you started and how far you've come.
Blues Foundations
The complete language of blues guitar. Pentatonic and blues scales in all positions. 12-bar progressions and variations. Shuffle feel, swing timing, dynamics. Turnarounds and intros. Bending, vibrato, and tone control. For intermediate players who can play but haven't found their blues voice yet.
8 weekly 60-minute Zoom sessions · Recording provided · Homework between sessions
Advanced Improvisation
Break out of the box. Chord-tone soloing over changes. Modal interchange and borrowed chords. Rhythmic displacement and phrasing. Building a solo with narrative arc — tension, release, dynamics, space. This is where good players become dangerous.
6 weekly 75-minute Zoom sessions · Recording provided · Backing tracks included
Slide Guitar Workshop
Open tunings, bottleneck technique, muting, intonation. From Robert Johnson to Derek Trucks. Two intensive sessions covering standard and open tunings, electric and acoustic approaches. You'll leave with a slide vocabulary you can use on the next gig.
2 sessions over one weekend · 90 minutes each · Tuning guides included
Performance Workshop
Playing live is a different animal. Stage presence, setlist construction, working with a band, reading the room, dealing with monitors and sound. The stuff nobody teaches that separates bedroom players from working musicians. David draws on hundreds of live shows to teach what actually matters on stage.
4 weekly 60-minute sessions · Video review of your performances · Setlist planning
