About David

David Julia is a blues guitarist, performer, and instructor based in Florida. With hundreds of shows under his belt across venues from the Funky Biscuit to festivals across the Southeast, David brings a working musician's perspective to every lesson.

He started playing young — a prodigy by any measure — and built his chops the way all the greats did: on stage, night after night, learning what works when the lights are on and the room is full. His teaching method comes directly from that experience. No theory for theory's sake. Every scale, every technique, every concept is tied to something you'll actually use in performance.

David's students range from ambitious intermediates to working professionals looking to sharpen specific skills. He's not interested in teaching you to pass a test — he's interested in making you a better player on the bandstand.
